Moments that melt my heart
My husband is one of a kind. For the past few years, he has wanted a hunting dog. A German short-hair, a Brittany, a Lab - a dog that would be a great hunting companion when we head to our log home in northern Michigan.
But I wore him down. I've wanted a Bernese Mountain Dog for a long time. I started showing him photos, books and basically pleaded my case. "You don't hunt that much" and "a Bernese Mountain Dog is a member of the family, intelligent, wonderful personality..." And being the good hearted husband that he is, he finally agreed.
And seeing Scout hug her daddy and wag her tail when he walks in the door, I think it's safe to say he doesn't regret giving in to me.

Oh, look how much they love each other! I can't stand it - too cute!
It definitely looks like those two are best friends. The photo really warms my heart.
Who could resist that face? Nobody!
kisses,
Emma Rose
Puppy Whipped is what my wife calls it. Been there, still doing it... "resistance is futile."
What a cutie!
She's a keeper ♥
Shelley you're going to frame this one right?!!! Sweet picture and a great memory :)
I will send you my address, with one air ticket for your puppy.
Great dogs have great names just like yours or he could be mine.
John.
Scout needs a little brother or sister. Take it from me...two are just as easy to raise as one and you have double the fun, too!
Scout says Thank you for stopping by and wants to give you all puppy smooches!!
JR & Sue - Scout said she may need to take a holiday and visit you! :)
Stop making me cry! Scout is just too cute! I had to work on my hubby for years too, only he didn't want a puppy at all. Course once we had our little Archie he was instantly entranced and seeing them together makes me so happy! Great photo!
