Getting ready for Christmas!

I'm getting ready for Christmas! What do you think of my Christmas Collar? It even has jingle bells on it! (All the better to forewarn the cat when I'm coming, ha!)

Let me pose this way so you can get another look at it!

Hopefully Santa brings me lots of presents! I've been a good dog! Except for that underwear incident......ssh!!

Scoundrel

"Hi there! I'm stepping in for my mommy today while she's studying. I upset her a little bit today when I took a pair of her underpants and ran in the yard with it waving it like a flag! You should've seen her chasing me! Especially when the neighbor that lives in back of us came outside w/ his dogs and saw what I was doing. I think the last straw was when I started digging a hole and burying the underwear in the dirt. That's a no-no! And mommy is still scratching her head trying to figure out how I got that underwear! But I'll never tell..."

Rawhides are bad!

This is what happens when you're not careful eating a rawhide bone! My mommy was very scared and rushed me to the ER. This is my x-ray. Don't I have great looking bones?

Thank goodness I didn't have an obstruction but I was very sick! Mommy said no more rawhides so now I get lots of chewy toys!

Playing in the leaves

First off, I don't know who is going to rake these leaves, but it's not me! I've been a little sick with an ear infection but now I'm feeling much better!

I love munching on the leaves and branches that fall from the tree! How about you?

Hanging around

I'm just hanging around! I'm a little over 5 months old and almost weigh 50 pounds. I think I'm starting to lose my "puppyness!"

Be quiet when you go fishing

Today I learned you have to be quiet when your parents are fishing. Usually Berners aren't known for being gratuitous barkers.

But then I started barking at this fish. I wanted to say hello.

I was going to give this fishy a kiss, but then I saw the worm on the side of his head. Yuck!

I don't know why I have to sit back here. I think I can catch a fish myself....
