Scout's first day at home!

Scout wanted to show you what her first day was like with her new family!

She really enjoyed playing in the yard and seeing how many woodchips she could put in her mouth before her mommy could catch her to pull them out!

Scout met Marvin the cat and tried to show him who was boss. Marvin had other ideas and gave Scout a friendly swap on the nose and said "pipe down youngster!"

Here is Scout giving her mommy and daddy the loving eyes!

And then there were puppy naps!

And more puppy naps!

You really captured some great moments on film Shelley. I love Marvin's swipe across the nose - my kitties do that to Harriet all the time! One day Scout is going to grow up and shock Marvin! Hope all goes smoothly tonight. Enjoy!

I thought about you on Saturday, knowing it was finally THE day! That is one precious puppy. She's just beautiful. But right now Marvin looks bigger than Scout! I'm sure that won't last for long though. Welcome home sweet girl!

Well if that isn't the definition of CUTE!!!!! What a beautiful healthy looking pup. Marvin is not going to be run over by Scout I can see. No they never caught the bad guys!! Thank you for remembering about that night.

Scout, you are adorable! The next time you find that kitty taking a nap, sneak up to her and whisper into her ear that someday...someday not all that far off...you'll be TEN times bigger than she is!

The dogs of our house

Scout, we don't care what those dogs of ours just said and we don't care how big you get, cats will rule the dogs...always!
